The HP Scitex FB6100 Printer delivers the speed and robust performance required of industrial print environments, and provides broad media versatility, enabling print service providers (PSP) to expand their customer offerings.

The HP Scitex FB6100 Printer converts from a flatbed to a roll-fed printer to deliver greater application versatility.

This versatile series shortens turnaround time and increases productivity with production print speeds of up to 100 m²/hr (1,070 ft²/hr), fast-drying UV inks and a print resolution of up to 1,270 x 800 dpi on a broad range of media, including ceramic tiles, glass or acrylic boards, wooden doors and acoustic ceiling tiles.

Robust, reliable and with a heavy-duty frame, the HP Scitex FB6100 Printer series is designed for production environments that operate 24/7.

Inks

— Quickly and easily switches between four-, six- and eight-color printing with an additional white ink for increased versatility and cost-effectiveness

— HP Scitex UV inks cure instantly when exposed to UV light, allowing printed output to be handled, stacked or cut, packaged, and delivered immediately

— Achieves the highest color fidelity on transparent or colored media with the standard White Ink Kit, which allows users to overprint, cover non-white areas of a graphic or create opaque images on transparent media

— An advanced algorithm in the series’ standard Smooth Print software compensates for missing nozzles, enabling continuous printing and ensuring high-quality output

— Produces a wide range of brilliant, unique shades with eight-color printing and 28-picoliter ink drops
Media

— Prints on rigid media up to 3.2 x 2 m (10.5 x 6.5 ft) and up to 50 mm (2 in) thick with automatic loading

— Prints directly on rigid, thick or heavy specialty media, like glass, wood and metals, or more conventional media, such as foam board, PVC, corrugated plastic and medium density overlay (MDO) or medium density fiberboard (MDF)(1)
